PLU Hits 6.4 Million Endorsements For Gen. Muhoozi In Record Six Weeks

In what is being described as a massive show of support, the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) has within just one and a half months collectively mobilised 6.4 million endorsement signatures in support of General @mkainerugaba as our preferred presidential candidate.

According to figures released by the PLU Secretariat and the Office of the National Chairman, the endorsements have been collected through both online submissions via the official website and physical signatures in endorsement books distributed across the country.

This milestone marks significant progress towards fulfilling our National Chairman’s request to collect 20 million endorsement signatures by September 2027.

The regional breakdown shows an impressive nationwide response:

• Northern Region: 1,810,400 signatures
• Eastern Region: 1,702,100 signatures
• Western Region: 1,543,000 signatures
• Central Region: 1,400,220 signatures

We extend our special appreciation to the Northern Region for leading the mobilisation efforts, followed by the Eastern, Western, and Central regions.

With this momentum, PLU is optimistic that we could collect 25 million endorsement signatures by early March 2027, surpassing our initial target well ahead of the September deadline. Our projected target would also exceed Uganda’s reported 21,649,067 registered voters for the 2026 general elections.
